Following the sell-out success of the Beckett Festival in 1999, the Gate Theatre, Dublin and the Barbican join forces again to celebrate Beckett's 100th birthday, by presenting the Beckett Centenary Festival, simultaneously in London and Dublin. For six weeks, the entire Barbican Centre hosts Beckett events in each of its venues encompassing drama, prose, poetry, film, visual arts, and music. Whether you are new to Beckett or familiar with his range of work, the Barbican offers you the chance to explore his work further.
