Deathwatch Tickets and Information
Synopsis
Written while in prison in 1942, Deathwatch is an erotically charged examination of the power dynamics among members of society's criminal class. The dark and lusty tale of two prisoners locked in a deadly duel for the affections of their murderous cell-mate, this play is Genet's richly poetic celebration of criminality, depravity, and homo-eroticism.
