An overbearing business tycoon visits our nation's
capital to grease a few senators' palms; while there,
he hires an idealistic reporter to put a little polish
on his ditzy chorus-girl mistress. Of course, sparks
fly between the unlikely pair! This delightful
Pygmalion story, part romantic comedy, part political
satire, part coming-of-age story, is still as relevant
today as when it was first written in the 1940's.
