Using a high school election as the back drop, Little White Lies explores how blindly following the general consensus and rushing to judge can often times lead to disastrous consequences. Set during the final debate between three top candidates, it is apparent that those with the right to vote don't really have a choice as to who is elected. The play incorporates the unique format of Forum Theater, where audience members participate in the voting process! The piece highlights the struggle between those with power and those without, and pushes the boundary of the one-act play. Co-developed and performed by a cast of young adults, Little White Lies explores contemporary societal issues in a way that is sure to capture and engage the audience.
