Synopsis

Three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella stars in a revival of Robert Bolt's A Man for All Seasons, directed by Doug Hughes.

This classic drama is a timeless exploration of politics, religion and power, based on the fascinating true story of English Chancellor Sir Thomas More and his moral objection to King Henry VIII's plan to leave the Catholic Church.

Review: A man for our times ..... by morsesline

and this particular season. The Roundabouts visually stunning production of this classic work is a joy to watch. Here is a man who puts principle before profit, people before politics. Frank Lagella leads a masterful, and largely young cast, through this modern morality tale.

Review: History Nut by Merkurrr

Saw second preview. Seemed underrehearsed. Best was the King Henry; worst the Cromwell. Definitely needs work and was too long. Rent the movie!
