Chicago Rock Legend Dennis DeYoung's powerful musical adaptation, based on the novel by Victor Hugo
The Hunchback of Notre Dame is the story of the classic love triangle between the gypsy Esmeralda, the priest Frollo, and the deformed bell-ringer Quasimodo. The soaring ballads and driving musicality of Dennis DeYoung's score are a perfect match for this story set against the spires of the world's most beloved cathedral.

This is an attempt to attract readers to see the musical, but the name DENNIS DE YOUNG alone should be enough. It is a beautiful, magical adaptation of the universal theme of human struggles in the society and from within, and of finding love in the most mysterious form. I hope for only the best for this musical -- it would be a HUGE shame not to have this on a worldwide stage like its sister, Les Miserables, but for what its worth, theres always a hundred years from now, right Dennis?
