Bare: The Album, a three-disc multimedia set featuring songs from the hit Off-Broadway musical and scenes from various productions, will be released on Tuesday, October 30 by CD Baby. Proceeds from the set will benefit The Trevor Project, which works to curb suicide among young gay people.
The show, written by Damon Intrabartolo and John Hartmere Jr., tells the story of two male students who fall in love during their senior year at a Catholic boarding school and how their relationship affects their friends and family.
The recording will feature a 16-person cast, headed by Matt Doyle, James Snyder, Jenna Leigh Green, and Anna Rose, along with 15 musicians. In addition to showing scenes from various productions, the third disc also includes interviews with performers and producers and making-of-the-recording footage.
