Barricelli, Forbes, Margulies, McCarthy Set for The Price

Marco Barricelli, Kate Forbes, David Margulies, and Jeff McCarthy will star in the Long Wharf Theatre's revival of Arthur Miller's 1968 drama The Price, to run October 24-November 18. The production will be directed by Gordon Edelstein.

In The Price, estranged brothers Walter, a successful surgeon, and Victor, a poorly paid policeman who put his own dreams on hold because of family obligations, reunite after 16 years to divide their recently deceased father's estate.

The show's creative team includes Eugene Lee (sets), Jessica Ford (costumes), Michael Chybowski (lighting), and Corinne K. Livingston (sound). Edelstein is the theater's artistic director and has helmed the Long Wharf productions of such shows as Uncle Vanya, The Blue Album, and Mourning Becomes Electra.

Barricelli, who will play Victor Franz, recently appeared in the Long Wharf's production of Uncle Vanya, for which he won a Connecticut Critics Circle Award. Forbes, who will play Esther Franz, has appeared Off-Broadway in The Merchant of Venice, All's Well That Ends Well, and Othello. Margulies, who will play Gregory Solomon, has appeared on Broadway in Wonderful Town, Angels in America, and Conversations with My Father. McCarthy, who will play Walter Franz, has starred on Broadway in The Pirate Queen, Urinetown, Side Show, and Beauty and the Beast.
